1213B x100 gnathosoma Levantoglyphus sidorchukae paratype

Original image stacks for descriptions of fossil mites Levantoglyphus sidorchukae n. gen. and sp. from Cretaceous amber of Lebanon (ca. 129 Ma). Two specimens in a finely polished piece of amber are embedded in epoxy between two glass coverslips.<br>Compound microscopes Nikon E-800 with water immersion optics (40x and 60x), Zeiss AxioImager A2 with dry (40x, 63x) and oil immersion optics (100x), Leica DM 2500 LED (40x, 100x). Brightfield, phase contrast, polarized and differential interference contrast and incident illumination were used. Stacks of images, comprising multiple focal planes, were obtained with digital cameras Olympus OM-D E-M10II on the Nikon microscope, Zeiss Axiocam 506 color, Hitachi KP-HD20A on the Zeiss microscope, and Leica DMC4500 on the Leica microscope.<br>Stacks were corrected for color, brightness and noise with Adobe Lightroom, then exported to JPEG format. <br><br>

本数据集为产自黎巴嫩白垩纪琥珀（约1.29亿年）的化石螨类莱万特螨属（Levantoglyphus）西多伦科莱万特螨（Levantoglyphus sidorchukae）新属新种的原始图像堆叠数据。两件标本保存在一块精细抛光的琥珀块中，该琥珀块被封装于两片玻璃盖玻片之间的环氧树脂内。
成像所用复合显微镜包括：搭载水浸物镜（40×、60×）的尼康（Nikon）E-800显微镜；搭载干燥物镜（40×、63×）及油浸物镜（100×）的蔡司（Zeiss）AxioImager A2显微镜；以及徕卡（Leica）DM 2500 LED显微镜（40×、100×）。本次成像采用明场照明、相差显微术、偏振光显微术、微分干涉差显微术及落射照明模式。
多焦平面图像堆叠通过以下配套数码相机采集：尼康显微镜搭载奥林巴斯（Olympus）OM-D E-M10II数码相机，蔡司显微镜搭载蔡司Axiocam 506彩色数码相机与日立（Hitachi）KP-HD20A数码相机，徕卡显微镜搭载徕卡DMC4500数码相机。
所有图像堆叠均通过Adobe Lightroom进行色彩、亮度与噪声校正，随后导出为JPEG格式文件。
