Zinc, the second most abundant essential trace element in living organisms, can effectively inhibit RNA viral infections. Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) is a single-stranded RNA virus. It is still unknown whether zinc can suppress PRRSV replication and what its mechanism of action is. Overall design: In this study, PRRSV-infected Marc-145 cell model was employed to systematically investigate zinc sulfate's anti-PRRSV mechanisms through integrated multi-omics approaches, including transcriptomics, real-time quantitative PCR, immunoblot, and flow cytometry.
锌是活体内含量第二丰富的必需微量元素,可有效抑制RNA病毒感染。猪繁殖与呼吸综合征病毒(Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus, PRRSV)为单链RNA病毒。目前尚不明确锌能否抑制PRRSV复制,及其具体作用机制。实验设计:本研究采用PRRSV感染的Marc-145细胞模型,通过整合转录组学(transcriptomics)、实时定量聚合酶链反应(real-time quantitative PCR)、免疫印迹(immunoblot)及流式细胞术(flow cytometry)等多组学手段,系统探究硫酸锌抗PRRSV的作用机制。
