Database research on the performance of Brazilian teachers in the pandemic and the burnout syndrome

The research developed at the Federal University of Santa Catarina aimed to analyze the levels of Burnout Syndrome in teaching activities during the pandemic, seeking to identify factors, conditions and levels of education that could be associated. Burnout Syndrome is associated with professional activity including exhaustion, emotional exhaustion, chronic stress and dehumanization. The research foresees two procedures for data collection. At first, the instrument was built and validated with specialists. The questionnaire applied online included sociodemographic questions and health conditions, as well as personal and institutional conditions for acting as a teacher during the pandemic and includes the adaptation of a standardized instrument on Burnout Syndrome.本研究由圣卡塔琳娜联邦大学（Federal University of Santa Catarina）开展，旨在分析疫情期间教学活动中的职业倦怠综合征（Burnout Syndrome）水平，并探寻与之相关的影响因素、工作情境及教育层级。职业倦怠综合征与职业活动密切相关，其核心表征包含精力耗竭、情绪衰竭、慢性应激及去人性化等特征。本研究拟定了两项数据采集流程：首先编制研究工具并邀请专家进行效度验证；其次采用线上问卷开展调研，该问卷涵盖社会人口学问项、健康状况相关问题，以及疫情期间担任教师所需的个人与院校工作情境相关条目，同时包含经过适配的职业倦怠综合征标准化测评工具。
