本数据集为依托全球土壤地面观测汇编数据集预测得到的7个标准深度处的2~50微米粒径粉粒质量分数（单位：%）。该空间分布图的精度评估详见Hengl等人（2017）的研究文献，DOI：10.1371/journal.pone.0169748。数据采用内部压缩的GeoTIFF格式存储，压缩参数为COMPRESS=DEFLATE。测量单位：质量百分比（w%）。
