Gulf of Mexico lander Oxygen (O2) data, northern Gulf of Mexico (GC600), March 28, 2015 to August 25, 2015

Data were collected using instrument packages deployed on a deep sea lander. The lander was deployed at an active hydrocarbon seepage field in the northern Gulf of Mexico from March 28th to August 25th, 2015. Oxygen data was collected using optode sensors inside and out of a chimney to look at the total oxygen consumption (TOU) of the sediment. Water current (speed and direction) and temperature data were also collected to look at the point sources.

本数据集的数据通过部署于深海着陆器（deep sea lander）的仪器套件采集获得。该着陆器于2015年3月28日至8月25日期间，布放于墨西哥湾北部的一处活跃烃类渗漏（hydrocarbon seepage）区域。本研究通过在渗漏烟囱体（chimney）内外布设光极传感器（optode sensor）采集氧气数据，以测定沉积物的总耗氧量（Total Oxygen Consumption, TOU）。此外还同步采集了水流（流速与流向）及温度数据，用于探究点源特征。
