The data helps to understand the relationship between the variables including professional learning communities, collective teacher efficacy, job satisfaction, trust, and emotional intelligence among Malaysian primary school teachers. The main research objectives were: (1) to examine the direct relationship between professional learning communities, teachers' collective efficacy, and job satisfaction, (2) to identify the significant mediating role of teachers' trust in colleagues, and (3) to identify the significant moderating effect of teachers' emotional intelligence. The research instruments used for the study included English and Malay versions of the teachers' demographic information, Professional Learning Communities Assessment-R, Collective Teacher Belief Scale, Spector's Job Satisfaction Survey, Omnibus-T Scale, and Wong & Law Emotional Intelligence Scale. Descriptive data analysis was performed using the software Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences (SPSS). Thereafter, structural equation modeling (SEM) using SmartPLS was done to study the direct, mediating, and moderating effects between the variables.
本数据集旨在助力探究马来西亚小学教师群体中,专业学习共同体(Professional Learning Communities)、教师集体效能感(Collective Teacher Efficacy)、工作满意度(Job Satisfaction)、教师对同事的信任(Trust)以及情绪智力(Emotional Intelligence)之间的关联机制。本研究的核心目标如下:其一,验证专业学习共同体、教师集体效能感与工作满意度之间的直接关联;其二,明确教师对同事的信任所起到的显著中介作用;其三,探明教师情绪智力所产生的显著调节效应。本研究采用的调研工具包含:教师人口统计学信息问卷的英文与马来语版本、专业学习共同体评估量表-R(Professional Learning Communities Assessment-R)、集体教师信念量表(Collective Teacher Belief Scale)、斯佩克特工作满意度调查问卷(Spector's Job Satisfaction Survey)、Omnibus-T信任量表以及黄氏-劳氏情绪智力量表(Wong & Law Emotional Intelligence Scale)。研究首先采用社会科学统计软件包(SPSS)开展描述性数据分析,随后借助SmartPLS构建结构方程模型(SEM),以剖析各变量间的直接效应、中介效应与调节效应。
