Percentage of people exposed to hazardous air quality

This indicator will estimate the percentage of population living in areas with hazardous ambient air quality. “Hazardous” air quality is defined as annual average concentrations of PM2.5 (Particulate Matter less than 2.5 micrometers in diameter that are responsible for significant health impacts) that exceed 35 µg/m3.
