Replication dataset for "Strategic Mineral Specialization and Structural Transformation: Value-Chain Integration in Rare Earths and Niobium"

This repository contains the replication dataset and Stata code used in the article “Strategic Mineral Specialization and Structural Transformation: Value-Chain Integration in Rare Earths and Niobium”. The dataset is a cross-country panel covering mineral-exporting economies for the period 2000–2025. It combines international trade statistics for rare earth elements and ferroniobium with macroeconomic indicators including manufacturing value added, foreign direct investment, gross fixed capital formation, exports, and real effective exchange rates. The Stata replication file reproduces the econometric models presented in the paper, including two-way fixed effects panel estimations with clustered standard errors. Primary data sources include UN Comtrade, the World Bank World Development Indicators, the Bank for International Settlements effective exchange rate statistics, and the World Bank Commodity Price Database (Pink Sheet).本仓库包含论文《战略矿产专业化与结构转型：稀土与铌的价值链整合》所使用的复现数据集与Stata代码。 该数据集为覆盖2000年至2025年矿产出口经济体的跨国面板数据，整合了稀土元素与铌铁的国际贸易统计数据，以及制造业增加值、外商直接投资、固定资产形成总额、出口额与实际有效汇率等宏观经济指标。 本Stata复现文件可复现论文中提出的计量模型，包含带聚类标准误的双向固定效应面板估计。 核心数据源包括联合国商品贸易统计数据库（UN Comtrade）、世界银行世界发展指标、国际清算银行有效汇率统计数据库，以及世界银行大宗商品价格数据库（粉红皮书）。
