NC Orthoimagery for Hurricane Helene 2025

The imagery was acquired in spring 2025 as part of the ongoing response to the effects of Hurricane Helene (2024). The extent of the service covers 13 counties including: Alexander, Ashe, Avery, Burke, Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, McDowell, Mitchell, Rutherford, Watauga, and Yancey The imagery features a 6-inch pixel resolution and is presented in natural color. Individual pixel values may have been adjusted during image service preparation, making the data best suited for visual interpretation and general mapping. Use for detailed image analysis involving individual pixel values is not recommended. The service is compatible with both ArcGIS (Esri) and OGC WMS (Open Geospatial Consortium) standards.
