Sediment core sampling: RV Multanovsky cruise, Mu18, 2018

In order to reconstruct past ocean environmental changes in the Bering Sea, sediment cores were obtained from the northern slope region of the Bering Sea. Three types of sediment samplers ("Ashura" type of multiple corer (60 cm core tube length) and a piston corer (5 m or 10 m core pipe length), and short gravity corer (1 m core pipe length, a pilot corer of piston corer)) were utilized in this expedition. Sediment cores were collected at 4 sites in the Bering Sea.
