Sediment core sampling: RV Multanovsky cruise, Mu18, 2018

In order to reconstruct past ocean environmental changes in the Bering Sea, sediment cores were obtained from the northern slope region of the Bering Sea. Three types of sediment samplers ("Ashura" type of multiple corer (60 cm core tube length) and a piston corer (5 m or 10 m core pipe length), and short gravity corer (1 m core pipe length, a pilot corer of piston corer)) were utilized in this expedition. Sediment cores were collected at 4 sites in the Bering Sea.为重建白令海过去的海洋环境演化历史，研究团队从白令海北部斜坡区域采集了沉积物岩芯。本次科考航次共使用三类沉积物采样器：阿舒拉（Ashura）型多管采样器（multiple corer，岩芯管长度60 cm）、活塞式采样器（piston corer，岩芯管长度5 m或10 m），以及短重力采样器（short gravity corer，岩芯管长度1 m，属于活塞式采样器的先导采样器）。研究人员在白令海的4个站位采集了沉积物岩芯。
