The purpose of the dataset C. elegans muscle aging is to deduce the age of the nemathode based on images of muscles. Images of C. elegans were taken at different chronological ages. This image is part of the day 8 data set. Note that the morphological and chronological ages are not fully correlated due to the variability among individuals even though the individuals are genetically identical. The source for the dataset is Laboratory of Genetics/NIA/NIH.秀丽隐杆线虫（C. elegans）肌肉衰老数据集旨在通过肌肉图像推断线虫的实足年龄。该数据集收录了秀丽隐杆线虫在不同实足年龄下拍摄的肌肉图像，本次呈现的图像属于第8天数据集的一部分。需注意，即便个体基因完全一致，由于个体间存在异质性，其形态年龄与实足年龄并不完全相关。本数据集的来源为遗传学实验室/美国国家衰老研究所（NIA）/美国国立卫生研究院（NIH）。
