Research Dataset: Perception and Applicability of the PMBOK® Guide 7th Edition — Survey with Project Management Professionals (Brazil, 2024)

This dataset supports the mixed-methods survey study: "Perception and Applicability of the PMBOK® Guide 7th Edition in Professional Project Management" (Seibel & Silveira, 2025, submitted to ACM Computing Surveys). The repository contains: (1) anonymized survey response dataset in CSV format (79 valid responses × 72 variables); (2) full survey instrument (questionnaire); (3) Informed Consent Form (TCLE); and (4) variable codebook (README.md). Data were collected online in June 2024 via LimeSurvey, with participants recruited through LinkedIn and specialized project management forums in Brazil. All personally identifiable information (IP addresses, timestamps, sequential IDs) was removed prior to deposit. The study was approved by the Ethics Review Committee of UNIPAMPA (CAAE: 88715325.6.0000.5323). Variables include: demographic profile, PMI certifications, self-reported mastery scores (Likert 1–5) for all 12 PMBOK® 7th Edition principles and 8 performance domains, PM tools used, perceived tool limitations, and open-ended qualitative responses.本数据集支撑一项混合方法调查研究：《PMBOK®指南（PMBOK® Guide）第7版在专业项目管理中的认知与应用》（Seibel与Silveira，2025，已提交至《ACM计算概览》（ACM Computing Surveys））。 本数据仓库包含以下内容：(1) 经匿名化处理的CSV格式调查回复数据集（79份有效回复 × 72个变量）；(2) 完整调查工具（调查问卷）；(3) 知情同意书（TCLE）；(4) 变量编码手册（README.md）。 数据于2024年6月通过LimeSurvey在线收集，招募对象通过领英（LinkedIn）及巴西本土专业项目管理论坛征集。所有个人可识别信息（包括IP地址、时间戳、序列ID）均在提交入库前完成脱敏处理。本研究已通过巴西南帕联邦大学（UNIPAMPA）伦理审查委员会批准，审查编号为CAAE: 88715325.6.0000.5323。 数据集变量涵盖人口统计特征、项目管理协会（PMI）认证情况、针对PMBOK®指南第7版全部12项原则与8项绩效领域的自我报告掌握程度评分（采用李克特1-5级量表）、所用项目管理工具、感知到的工具局限性，以及开放式质性回复。
