Sentinel-1/2 derived Arctic Coastal Human Impact dataset (SACHI)

The SACHI (Sentinel-1/2 derived Arctic Coastal Human Impact) V1 dataset was developed as part of the HORIZON2020 project Nunataryuk by b.geos (www.bgeos.com). V1 covered a 100km buffer from the Arctic Coast (land area), for areas with permafrost near the coast. V2 has been prepared as part of the ESA project EO4PAC. It covers additional selected areas extending the coverage to the south.It is based on Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 data from 2016-2020 using the algorithms described in Bartsch et al. (2020). V1 is a supplement to Bartsch et al. (2023) and V2 to Tanguy et al. (2024). V2 consists of two shape files. 1) SACHI_v2.shp - all identified objects with infrastructure/impact classes and auxiliary information2) SACHI_v2_granules_acquisition_dates - processed Sentinel-2 granule extent polygons with dates of all used input data Dataset reference: see Zenodo 'Sentinel-1/2 derived Arctic Coastal Human Impact dataset (SACHI) v2' (zenodo.org) Description of fields in SACHI_v2.shp: class: SACHI class value. 11=linear transport infrastructure (asphalt), 12=linear transport infrastructure (gravel), 13=linear transport infrastructure (undefined),20=buildings (and other constructions such as bridges), 30=other impacted area (includes gravel pads, mining sites), 40=airstrip, 50=reservoir or other water body impacted by human activities Description of fields in SACHI_v2_granules_acquisition_dates.shp: S2_date1 to S2_date3 - dates of individual Sentinel-2 images used for averagingS1_winter - year(s) of Sentinel-1 images used for averaging (months December and/or January)SACHI（哨兵-1/2衍生北极海岸人类影响，Sentinel-1/2 derived Arctic Coastal Human Impact）V1数据集由b.geos（www.bgeos.com）依托欧盟地平线2020（HORIZON2020）项目Nunataryuk开发完成。V1版本覆盖北极海岸周边100公里缓冲带（陆地区域）内的海岸附近多年冻土区。V2版本由欧洲空间局（ESA）项目EO4PAC支持开发，新增选定区域并将覆盖范围向南延伸。该数据集基于2016-2020年的哨兵-1（Sentinel-1）、哨兵-2（Sentinel-2）影像数据，采用Bartsch等人2020年发表的算法生成。其中V1版本为Bartsch等人2023年研究的补充数据集，V2版本则为Tanguy等人2024年研究的补充数据集。 V2版本包含两个矢量形状文件（shapefile）： 1) SACHI_v2.shp：包含所有已识别的带有基础设施/影响类别的地物及辅助信息； 2) SACHI_v2_granules_acquisition_dates.shp：包含所有所用输入数据获取日期的、经过处理的哨兵-2影像幅块范围多边形。 数据集引用请参考Zenodo平台上的《Sentinel-1/2 derived Arctic Coastal Human Impact dataset (SACHI) v2》（zenodo.org）。 SACHI_v2.shp的字段说明如下： class：SACHI类别编码，11代表沥青路面线性交通基础设施，12代表砾石路面线性交通基础设施，13代表未明确类型的线性交通基础设施；20代表建筑（含桥梁等其他构筑物）；30代表其他受影响区域（包含砾石平台、采矿场）；40代表简易跑道；50代表水库或其他受人类活动影响的水体。 SACHI_v2_granules_acquisition_dates.shp的字段说明如下： S2_date1至S2_date3：用于合成处理的单幅哨兵-2影像的获取日期； S1_winter：用于合成处理的哨兵-1影像的获取年份（对应12月及/或1月的影像数据）。
