Apically Extruded Debris Using Passive Ultrasonic Irrigation Associated with Different Root Canal Irrigants

Abstract The present study evaluated the amount of apically extruded debris after chemo-mechanical preparation (CMP) associated with passive ultrasonic irrigation (PUI) using four different root canal irrigants, namely, 6% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl), 2% chlorhexidine gel + saline solution (2% CHXg+SS), 2% chlorhexidine solution (2% CHXs) and SS alone. Sixty mandibular premolars with single straight root canals were selected and randomly assigned into 4 groups (n=15) according to the root canal irrigant used as follows: G1 (PUI + NaOCl), G2 (PUI + CHXg+SS), G3 (PUI+CHXs) and G4 (PUI+SS). Reciproc® R25 files (25/.08) were used during CMP and the debris extruded from each tooth were collected in pre-weighted Eppendorf tubes and dried. The average weight of debris was assessed by using an analytical microbalance. Data were statistically analysed by using ANOVA and post-hoc Tukey’s test (a=0.05). 摘要 本研究评估了联合被动超声冲洗(passive ultrasonic irrigation, PUI)的化学机械预备(chemo-mechanical preparation, CMP)过程中,采用4种不同根管冲洗液时的根尖碎屑溢出量,这4种冲洗液分别为:6%次氯酸钠(sodium hypochlorite, NaOCl)、2%氯己定凝胶+生理盐水(2% CHXg+SS)、2%氯己定溶液(2% CHXs)以及单纯生理盐水(SS alone)。本研究选取60颗具有单直根管的下颌前磨牙,按照所用根管冲洗液随机分为4组(每组n=15),具体分组如下:G1组(PUI+NaOCl)、G2组(PUI+CHXg+SS)、G3组(PUI+CHXs)、G4组(PUI+SS)。所有样本的化学机械预备均采用Reciproc® R25车针(25/.08)完成,将每颗牙齿溢出的碎屑收集至预先称重的艾本德(Eppendorf)管中并进行干燥处理。采用分析微量天平测定碎屑的平均重量,通过方差分析(ANOVA)与Tukey事后检验(显著性水平α=0.05)对数据进行统计学分析。所有组别均观察到根尖碎屑溢出,与所用根管冲洗液类型无关;相较于其余冲洗液组,2% CHXg+SS组的碎屑溢出量更低(p
