Digital Archive from an Evaluation at Honeywall Lane, Madeley Heath, Staffordshire, December 2023

This collection comprises images, spreadsheets, and GIS data from an archaeological evaluation on the land south of Honeywall Lane, Madeley Heath, Staffordshire. This work was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in December 2023. Evidence of medieval activity in the form of a localised buried soil deposit containing sherds of pottery of a 14th to 15th-century date was identified. Post-medieval or modern activity in the form of two brick walls possibly associated with a nearby brickworks depicted by 19th-century cartographic sources was also identified.
