Comparison of Nanopore and Illumina 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing

A mock community and six faecal samples were subjected to 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing with Nanopore GridION and Illumina NovaSeq 6000. Each sample was sequenced in three replicates with both sequencing platforms.

选取1个模拟群落（mock community）及6份粪便样本，分别采用纳米孔GridION（Nanopore GridION）测序仪与Illumina NovaSeq 6000测序仪进行16S rRNA基因扩增子测序；所有样本均在上述两种测序平台上各完成3次重复测序。
