Comprehensive Dataset of Academic Publications on the Integration of Advanced Technologies in Medical Devices with PRISMA Documentation (2010-2024)

This dataset represents a comprehensive collection of academic publications focused on the integration of advanced technologies in medical devices, covering the period from 2010 to 2024. The data was extracted from Scopus and Web of Science, two prominent databases known for their extensive peer-reviewed literature in science, technology, and medicine. The dataset includes 3,094 documents from 1,747 sources, representing a significant annual growth rate of 27.8%. It comprises various types of publications, including articles, conference papers, reviews, and book chapters, contributed by 10,695 authors with a notable portion involved in international collaborations. Additionally, this entry now includes a PRISMA flow chart and PRISMA checklist to provide a detailed methodology and ensure transparency and reproducibility of the data collection process.
