本数据集利用Himawari-8红外亮温数据反演中国区域(80˚E)1month/10km分辨率的定量降水。该数据集与GPM IMERG Final产品在月尺度和小时尺度上,空间格局相似性较高。在2017-2021年中国典型极端降水案例中,Himawari-8降水产品能捕捉到降水峰值的变化和空间上降水。证明由机器学习算法建立的降水反演算法,在有高精度的观测降水基础上,能够在时间和空间上接近训练的降水产品。数据集可以通过数据平台免费向科研用户共享。
This dataset retrieves quantitative precipitation over the Chinese region (80°E) at a temporal resolution of 1 month and spatial resolution of 10 km using Himawari-8 infrared brightness temperature data. It exhibits high spatial pattern similarity with the GPM IMERG Final product at both monthly and hourly scales. In typical extreme precipitation events across China between 2017 and 2021, the Himawari-8 precipitation product can capture the variations of precipitation peaks and the spatial distribution of precipitation. This demonstrates that the precipitation retrieval algorithm established based on machine learning, which is trained on high-precision observed precipitation data, can closely match the training precipitation products in both temporal and spatial dimensions. This dataset is freely available to scientific researchers via data platforms.
