This study determined the influence of increasing metabolic level at a higher temperature on the metabolic scaling exponent of the crucian carp by removing the potential interference of variations in surface area and determine the link between metabolic scaling exponents and surface area parameters of both gills and body. The surface area of gills and body and the resting metabolic rate of the crucian carp were assessed at 15<sup>o</sup>C and 25<sup>o</sup>C, and their mass scaling exponents were analyzed.

本研究通过消除表面积变化带来的潜在干扰,探究了升温条件下代谢水平提升对鲫代谢缩放指数(metabolic scaling exponent)的影响,并明确了代谢缩放指数与鳃、体表面积参数之间的关联。本研究在15℃与25℃条件下,测定了鲫的鳃表面积、体表面积以及静息代谢率(resting metabolic rate),并对其质量缩放指数(mass scaling exponents)进行了分析。
