This dataset derives from a non-randomized controlled trial with pre–post measurements that investigated the effects of a multimodal physical exercise program on older adults with Alzheimer’s disease (AD). The study was conducted in Uberaba, Minas Gerais, Brazil, and initially screened 50 community-dwelling participants diagnosed with AD by a neurologist. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 23 participants were included and distributed across three groups: an exercise group with AD (n = 7), an AD control group (n = 8), and a cognitively healthy control group (n = 8). The intervention group participated in the university extension project “Move Yourself—Physical Exercise for Older Adults with Alzheimer’s Disease.” Cognitive, functional, and biochemical outcomes (BDNF and IL-2) were assessed before and after the intervention. All evaluations were conducted by trained assessors blinded to group allocation to ensure measurement reliability.
