Venture capital investment in CEE 2007-2022, by stage

2022 saw the largest investment in venture capital of any year in this period with approximately 400 million euros, of which 300 million was in later stage investments. Other than 2022, the amount in venture capital investment in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) fluctuated from 146 million euros in 2007 to 172 million euros in 2018. Start-up and later stage investments saw far more in funding in almost all years displayed than that in seed rounds.
