According to RNA-seq results, application of vitamin D in the form of 25(OH)D in swine diet can be beneficial for myogenesis, energy production and muscle fibre formation by influencing TOR signalling pathway. However, the use of vitamin D in the form of 25(OH)D may reduce muscle respiratory capacity. Effect of different doses of cholecalciferol and calcidiol on pork quality parameters and transcriptome profiles of skeletal muscle of swine. The vitamin D dosage of the groups was as follows : 1 group (control group) 2000 IU cholecalciferol (grower) and 1500 IU cholecalciferol/ kg feed (finisher)- 8 individuals, 2 group 3000IU cholecalciferol (grower) and 2500 IU cholecalciferol/ kg feed (finisher)- 10 individuals, 3 group 2000 IU cholecalciferol + 1000 IU 25(OH)D3 (grower) and 1500 IU cholecalciferol + 1000 IU 25(OH)D3/kg feed (finisher)- 8 individuals, 4 group 2000 IU 25(OH)D3 (grower) and 1500 IU 25(OH)D3/kg feed (finisher)- 8 individuals

基于RNA测序(RNA-seq)结果显示,在猪日粮中以25(OH)D形式添加维生素D,可通过调控TOR信号通路(TOR signalling pathway),对肌发生、能量生成及肌纤维形成产生有益作用,但该形式的维生素D添加可能会降低肌肉呼吸能力。本数据集旨在探究不同剂量的胆钙化醇(cholecalciferol)与骨化二醇(calcidiol)对猪肉品质参数及猪骨骼肌转录组谱的影响。各组维生素D添加方案如下:1组(对照组):生长猪阶段添加2000 IU胆钙化醇,育肥猪阶段添加1500 IU胆钙化醇/千克饲料,共8头个体;2组:生长猪阶段添加3000 IU胆钙化醇,育肥猪阶段添加2500 IU胆钙化醇/千克饲料,共10头个体;3组:生长猪阶段添加2000 IU胆钙化醇+1000 IU 25(OH)D3,育肥猪阶段添加1500 IU胆钙化醇+1000 IU 25(OH)D3/千克饲料,共8头个体;4组:生长猪阶段添加2000 IU 25(OH)D3,育肥猪阶段添加1500 IU 25(OH)D3/千克饲料,共8头个体
