This study consisted of a pilot test and a 4-wave longitudinal survey assessing risk and protective actions toward the Zika virus among U.S. residents.Survey 1 consisted of baseline measures (individual difference measures and risk perceptions). In Survey 2,participants responded to 9 possible government response actions that could be taken to protect against Zika. In Survey 3, participants were randomized in one of two conditions: an information condition that displayed a map of the Zika affect coverage or a control condition with no information. In Survey 4, participants were randomized into one of eight information conditions.
