Leading ESG measures taken by real estate investors worldwide 2022

Corporate sustainability reporting and global real estate sustainability benchmark (GRESB) reporting were the main environmental, social, and governance (ESG) measures undertaken by global investors according to a study conducted in March 2022. More than half of survey participants shared that their organization has adopted these measures. Meanwhile, approximately 46 percent noted that they were working on net zero planning at the time of the survey. Among the many benefits of adopting ESG measures were improved brand and reputation, attracting and retaining tenants, as well as meeting internal goals.
