Anti-angiogenic drug loaded liposomes: Nanotherapy for early atherosclerotic lesions in mice

Fumagillin-loaded liposomes were injected into ApoE-KO mice. The animals were divided into several groups to test the efficacy of this anti-angiogenic drug for early treatment of atherosclerotic lesions. Statistical analysis of the lesions revealed a decrease in the lesion size after 5 weeks of treatment.将载有夫马菌素（Fumagillin）的脂质体注射至载脂蛋白E基因敲除（ApoE-KO）小鼠体内。将受试动物划分为若干组别，以评估该抗血管生成药物用于动脉粥样硬化病变早期干预的疗效。对病变组织进行统计分析后结果显示，经过5周的治疗后，病变体积出现显著减小。
