Aging may cause different gene expression pattern between human and other animals. We sequenced peripheral blood transcriptomes of 44 Chinese rhesus macaques in different ages, and described the transcriptional landscape of age in this primate animals, detected age-associated differently expressed genes. By comparing with human and other animals, we try to found different gene expression strategies in response to aging.
衰老可导致人类与其他动物呈现出差异化的基因表达模式。本研究对44只不同年龄段的中国恒河猴(Chinese rhesus macaque)的外周血转录组(peripheral blood transcriptome)进行了测序,系统描绘了该灵长类动物的衰老转录图谱(transcriptional landscape),并鉴定出与衰老相关的差异表达基因(differently expressed genes)。本研究拟通过与人类及其他动物开展对比分析,揭示不同物种在应对衰老过程中的基因表达策略差异。
