The v2.0 bluetit genome has been sequenced to approximately 40X coverage by Illumina HiSEQ sequencing using 500bp insert and 1000bp insert PE libraries (2 x 101 bp reads). The sequencing reads were assembled using IDBA-UD in combination with Celera assembler v7. Superscaffolds have been established by colinearity with the Tibetan ground tit genome. The resulting draft assembly comprises about 1099 Mb in 54,108 contigs with an N50 contig length of 85.7 kb and an N50 superscaffold length of 16.8 Mb.
本蓝山雀(bluetit)v2.0版本基因组通过Illumina HiSEQ测序平台完成测序,采用插入片段长度为500bp和1000bp的双端(PE)测序文库,测序读长为2×101bp,测序覆盖度约为40×。测序读段(reads)经IDBA-UD与Celera组装软件v7联合拼接组装。通过与藏地地山雀(Tibetan ground tit)基因组的共线性(colinearity)分析,构建得到超级支架(Superscaffolds)。最终获得的草图组装序列包含54108个重叠群(contigs),总长度约1099 Mb,其中重叠群N50长度为85.7 kb,超级支架N50长度为16.8 Mb。
