We have identified C. tyrobutyricum (RPT-4213), renamed to NRRL B-67062, which can produce butyric acid from agricultural biomass hydrolysates under strict anaerobic condition. Complete genome of NRRL B-67062 showed one circular chromosome of 3,242,608 nucleotides, 3,114 predicted coding sequences (CDSs) and 79 RNA genes and an average G+C content of 31.0.
本研究成功鉴定出一株丁酸梭菌(Clostridium tyrobutyricum,原缩写C. tyrobutyricum,菌株编号RPT-4213),现已将其重命名为NRRL B-67062。该菌株可在严格厌氧环境下,利用农业生物质水解液生产丁酸。经测序分析,NRRL B-67062的完整基因组包含一条长度为3242608个核苷酸的环状染色体,共预测得到3114个编码序列(Coding Sequences,缩写CDSs)以及79个RNA基因,其平均G+C含量为31.0。
