Proteome database of Photobacterium phosphoreum ANT-2200

<i>Photobacterium phosphoreum</i> is a Gram-negative bioluminescence bacterium that lives in symbiosis with marine organisms. Endowed with luciferase gene, the bacterium emits bluish-green light. This work provides the proteome database of <i>P. phosphoreum</i> ANT-200 by parsing its annotated proteome downloaded from UniProt. Comprising protein name, amino acid sequence, number of residues, molecular weight, and nucleotide sequence of each protein in the proteome of the bacterium, this resource should find use in a variety of functional genomics workflow such as deciphering the molecular mechanisms that underpins the symbiosis between the bacterium and marine organisms.

磷光发光杆菌（Photobacterium phosphoreum）是一类与海洋生物共生的革兰氏阴性（Gram-negative）生物发光细菌。该菌携带有荧光素酶基因，可发出蓝绿色光。本研究通过解析从UniProt（通用蛋白质资源库）下载的磷光发光杆菌ANT-200的注释蛋白质组数据，构建了该菌株的蛋白质组数据库。该数据库涵盖该细菌蛋白质组中每一种蛋白质的名称、氨基酸序列、残基数目、分子量以及核苷酸序列。该资源可应用于多种功能基因组学研究流程，例如解析支撑该杆菌与海洋生物共生关系的分子机制。
