Genomic sequencing data of Cyanidiococcus strains

Cyanidiococcus, a member of the Cyanidiophyceae, inhabits thermo-acidic environments worldwide. We conducted field sampling at two sulfuric hot springs in Japan, Kusatsu and Tsukahara, and established clonal cultures. To perform k-mer analysis, we obtained Illumina reads of these strains.蓝球藻属（Cyanidiococcus）隶属于蓝红藻纲（Cyanidiophyceae），广泛栖息于全球各地的热酸性生境中。我们在日本的两处硫酸热泉——草津（Kusatsu）与冢原（Tsukahara）开展了野外采样，并建立了克隆培养株系。为开展k元组（k-mer）分析，我们获取了这些菌株的Illumina测序读段。
