FHP is commonly defined as head protrusion in the sagittal plane, with the head anterior to the trunk. FHP is spreading like an infection in today's technology environment. To find out the prevalence of forward head posture and mechanical neck pain among school going adolescent. A questionnaire containing 20 self-devised questions based on the awareness of forward posture and mechanical neck pain. This questionnaire was then distributed among school going students. The sample size consists of 340 participants from Government elementary school. Out of 340 responses, 78.8% of respondents are agree to have forward head posture and mechanical neck pain. Also, 71.7% are aware of the prevalence of sitting posture in class. The prevalence of forward head posture and mechanical neck pain among school-going adolescents is a cause for concern. The high rates of FHP and MNP emphasize the need for effective preventive measures and intervention strategies.
