Bacterial protein production on particles obtained by gravity filtration of water collected on RV/Endeavor EN556 (Patterns of activities project)

<p>Experiments on (operationally defined) particles were carried out by gravity-filtering water through 3 um pore size filters. Bacterial protein production was measured from ³H-leucine incorporation by heterotrophic bacteria.</p>

本实验针对操作定义的颗粒物（operationally defined particles）开展，通过孔径3微米的过滤器对水样进行重力过滤。采用³H-亮氨酸（³H-leucine）掺入法，测定异养细菌的蛋白质产量。
