All RT-qPCR data were generated from a murine model of 5-fluorouracil (5-FU)-induced intestinal mucositis. BALB/c mice were treated daily for 13 days with 200 µL of either live, heat-inactivated, or culture supernatant preparations of Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus L156.4 or LGG (ATCC 53103), or PBS as control. Mucositis was induced on day 11 via intraperitoneal injection of 5-FU (300 mg/kg). Animals were euthanized 72 hours post-induction. RNA was extracted from the distal ileum, reverse-transcribed to cDNA, and used in SYBR Green-based qPCR assays targeting markers of intestinal barrier function (e.g., Ocln, Cldn2, Tjp1), mucin production (Muc2), inflammation (Tnf, Il1b, Il6, Nfkb1), and immunoregulation (Il10, Tgfb1), normalized to Actb. Dataset includes raw Ct values and normalized expression values (ΔΔCt).
