The search for co-crystals of amines as bifunctional hydrogen-bond donors with bidentate oxygens as bifunctional
hydrogen-bond acceptors, as part of a program to investigate the utility of using the
(8) hydrogen-bonding motif, has yielded
three co-crystals of benzidine with p-benzoquinone, diphenyl sulfoxide, and triphenylphosphine oxide. The crystal structures for all
three materials are reported. Only the co-crystal structure of benzidine/diphenyl sulfoxide/water reveals the desired motif.
作为一项旨在探究使用(8)号氢键基序(hydrogen-bonding motif)实用性的研究计划的组成部分,本研究针对以双齿氧原子(bidentate oxygens)作为双功能氢键受体(bifunctional hydrogen-bond acceptors)、胺类作为双功能氢键给体(bifunctional hydrogen-bond donors)的共晶(co-crystals)开展探索,最终获得联苯胺(benzidine)分别与对苯醌(p-benzoquinone)、二苯亚砜(diphenyl sulfoxide)及三苯基氧膦(triphenylphosphine oxide)形成的三种共晶。现已报道上述三种材料的晶体结构,仅联苯胺/二苯亚砜/水三元共晶的结构呈现出预期的(8)号氢键基序。
