A diverse range of Phytophthora species from botanical gardens in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, including a novel clade 5 species

The dataset comprises alignment files for four gene regions: ITS, BTUB, COI, and HSP90, pertaining to ITS CLADE 5 Phytophthora species. These alignments were utilized in the construction of both individual and concatenated trees for the phylogenetic identification of the novel species Phytophthora mammiformis.
