Nowadays, shared bicycles are prevailing in China, which are widely used for the first or last mile to connect to other public transportations. However, we have limited knowledge about the role of shared bicycles in maintaining and transmitting potential pathogens and antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Herein, we aimed to assess the prevalence and distribution of Gram-positive bacteria resistant to clinically relevant antibiotics, and to determine their transmission potentials in shared bicycles.

当前，共享单车在中国已广为普及，广泛用于衔接其他公共交通的最初与最后一公里出行场景。然而，目前学界对共享单车在维持与传播潜在病原体及抗生素耐药细菌方面所发挥的作用仍知之甚少。为此，本研究旨在评估对临床相关抗生素具有耐药性的革兰氏阳性菌（Gram-positive bacteria）的流行率与分布情况，并探明其在共享单车场景下的传播潜力。
