NOX1 and NOX4 derived reactive oxygen species communicate with ileal microbiota. The project investigated changes in the bacterial and fungal microbiota of the ileum of male NOX1-/y (NOX1 KO) , NOX4-/- (NOX4 KO) and NOX1-/y NOX4 -/- (NOX1 KO NOX4 KO) mice and male internal control WT mice (F3 generation) at age 16 weeks.
烟酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸磷酸氧化酶1(NOX1)与烟酰胺腺嘌呤二核苷酸磷酸氧化酶4(NOX4)介导产生的活性氧(reactive oxygen species)可与回肠微生物群进行信号互作。本项目针对16周龄雄性NOX1基因敲除(NOX1-/y,NOX1 KO)、NOX4基因敲除(NOX4-/-,NOX4 KO)、NOX1与NOX4双基因敲除(NOX1-/y NOX4-/-,NOX1 KO NOX4 KO)小鼠,以及作为内部对照的雄性F3代野生型(WT)小鼠的回肠细菌与真菌微生物群变化展开了研究。
