Next-generation sequencing of the horse antibody repertoire

Horse serum antibodies have been used for more than a century for the treatment and prophylaxis of infectious diseases and envenomations. Little is known, however, about the IG diversity that produces serum antibodies. Here, we employed next-generation sequencing for a first-in-kind comprehensive analysis of equine B-cell repertoire.马血清抗体（Horse serum antibodies）已被用于传染病与中毒的治疗及预防，其应用历史已逾一个世纪。然而，目前学界对于介导血清抗体产生的免疫球蛋白（Immunoglobulin，IG）多样性的认知仍较为匮乏。本研究借助下一代测序（Next-generation sequencing）技术，针对马B细胞受体库开展了同类首创的全面分析。
