Barro Colorado Island, AVA tower.Mean vector, wind direction<br>Established in Mar, 2011 as part of the ForestGEO Tropical Ecology, Assessment and Monitoring (TEAM) project.<br>The original tower was Located near the center of the island at the north west corner of the 50ha plot (9.1568°, -79.8486°).<br>In 2018 this tower was struck by a tree fall and rendered unusable.<br>In Feb. 2019 a new 45m tower was build close by (9.1568°, -79.8486°). <br>

本数据集于2011年3月建立，作为森林地理（ForestGEO）热带生态评估与监测（TEAM）计划的组成部分。
初代观测塔坐落于该岛中心附近的50公顷样地西北角，地理坐标为（9.1568°，-79.8486°）。
2018年，该塔因树木倒伏受损，无法继续使用。
2019年2月，在原塔址附近新建了一座高45米的新观测塔，地理坐标为（9.1568°，-79.8486°）。
