Mutants are important materials to study the function of disease-related genes. In this study, the mutant was derived from cv Yuanza 9102 treated with EMS. Yuanza 9102 was selected from an interspecific cross of cv Baisha 1016 with A. diogoi, and resistant to several fungal disease, while mutant was highly susceptible to late leaf spot. RNA-Seq analysis in the leaf tissues of the mutant and its wild type Yuanza 9102 under pathogen challenge .

突变体是研究病害相关基因功能的重要实验材料。本研究中的突变体源自经乙基甲磺酸（EMS）处理的栽培品种元杂9102（cv Yuanza 9102）。元杂9102由栽培品种白沙1016（cv Baisha 1016）与A. diogoi的种间杂交后代选育而来，对多种真菌病害具有抗性，而该突变体则对晚斑病（late leaf spot）高度感病。本研究针对病原菌侵染胁迫下的该突变体及其野生型亲本元杂9102的叶片组织开展了RNA测序（RNA-Seq）分析。
