Adolf Schärf Monument in the Vienna City Hall Park. The bronze bust on a stele from 1985 was made by Alfred Hrdlicka. Adolf Schärf (1890-1965) was an Austrian politician and was Federal President of the Republic of Austria from 1957 until his death in 1965. He was the third Federal President of the Second Republic, which was established in 1945 and became sovereign in 1955. He played a decisive role in their development.
