Cross-sectional study of microbiome in specific-pathogen-free chickens at different ages, part I

Gut and respiratory microbiome samples were collected from a research flock of specific-pathogen-free (SPF) layer chickens at several points during their normal production setting. The aim was to follow compositional changes of the microbiota in the flock through normal development from hatch through peak laying period (52 weeks). This SRA submission contains the first half of the data collected. The second half is continued in Part II.

本研究在某研究用无特定病原体（specific-pathogen-free, SPF）蛋鸡群的正常养殖环境中，于多个时间点采集了肠道与呼吸道微生物组样本。本研究旨在追踪该鸡群从孵化至产蛋高峰期（52周）的正常发育进程中，其微生物组的组成变化情况。本次提交至SRA的数据集包含所采集数据的前半部分，数据后半部分收录于第二部分（Part II）。
