This is the draft genome sequence of Bradyrhizobium sp. USDA 3458 from Vigna unguiculata (Cowpea) strain. The draft genome of Bradyrhizobium sp. USDA 3458 is 9,006,849 bp with a G+C% of 63.75%, a N50 of 54,830 bp, and 8,379 predicted protein-coding genes. Strain 3458 forms a strong symbiosis with cowpea genotype IT82E-16, which is resistant to cowpea aphid (Aphis craccivora Koch).
