The microbiota associated with D. suzukii. microbiota of Drosophila suzukii

Drosophila suzukii is an exotic pest of soft fruits endemic to South Asia and recently introduced in North America and Europe. The bacterial community associated to D. suzukii specimens at different developmental stages (larvae, pupae and adults) has been assessed by 16S rRNA pyrosequencing, including in the analysis both individuals reared on fruits or artificial diet. The variable regions V1–V3 of the bacterial 16S rRNA gene have been amplified using the universal bacterial primers 27Fmod and 519Rmodbio.

斑翅果蝇（Drosophila suzukii）是一类为害软质水果的外来害虫，原产于南亚，近年已传入北美与欧洲。本研究针对不同发育阶段（幼虫、蛹及成虫）的斑翅果蝇样本所关联的细菌群落，采用16S rRNA焦磷酸测序（16S rRNA pyrosequencing）技术开展分析，分析样本涵盖以水果或人工饲料饲养的果蝇个体。实验采用通用细菌引物27Fmod与519Rmodbio，对细菌16S rRNA基因的V1–V3可变区完成了扩增。
