To understand how the circadian clock regulates astrocyte physiology, we conducted a circadian transcriptome analysis in cultured mouse cortical astrocytes Overall design: After synchronizing the circadian clock of cultured astrocytes by serum shock, cells were collected at intervals of 4 hours, starting from 12hrs post sync to 56hrs post sync. Subsequently, collected cells were subjected to RNA sequencing.

为探究生物钟(circadian clock)如何调控星形胶质细胞(astrocyte)的生理学功能,本研究对体外培养的小鼠大脑皮层星形胶质细胞开展了节律转录组分析。 实验设计概述:通过血清休克(serum shock)同步化体外培养星形胶质细胞的生物钟后,我们自同步化后12小时起至同步化后56小时止,每隔4小时收集细胞样本。随后对采集得到的细胞进行RNA测序(RNA sequencing)。
