Bodie Sunken Car

This car likely sunk up to its axials one spring in this ghost town of Bodie California. The wooden wheels rotted or were taken and this shell of a car rusted into place. Decades ago this car still had a radio with a car battery attached and set beneath it. They laid some plywood on the springs of a seat to not get snagged. A bucket had been added, perhaps as a beverage holder. One could imagine someone spending a considerable amount of time sitting here in this car and town, while listening to that radio, and going nowhere. from 46 images in 05h:04m:09s.
