Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) 2003: Mathematics teacher background questionnaire grade 8 (BTS) - South Africa as one of 50 countries

<p> This data set (Teacher mathematics background questionnaire - BTM) contains the responses of teachers when asked questions referring to their background, experience, subject taught and mathematics curriculum topics. The mathematics subject teacher of the class sampled was required to complete this questionnaire.</p><p> 265 Schools were sampled accross South Africa and 10600 students (administered). This data set has 237 cases.</p>

本数据集为教师数学背景调查问卷（Teacher mathematics background questionnaire - BTM），收录了教师针对个人背景、从教经历、所授学科及数学课程主题相关问题的作答结果。本次抽样班级的数学科任教师需完成该问卷。
本次调研共在南非境内抽取265所学校，施测学生共计10600名，本数据集共包含237条样本记录。
