Swath sonar multibeam SeaBeam-1050 bathymetry during POSEIDON cruise POS317/3 with links to raw data files of bathymetry from the Black Sea

Data acquisition was performed using a multibeam sonar system Elac SeaBeam 1050. Raw data are delivered within Elac SeaBeam current multibeam vendor format. Raw multibeam sonar data, format (.xse). SIMRAD raw data can be processed i.e. with the software packages CARIS HIPS/SIPS, Caraibes or with the open source software package MB-System (http://www.ldeo.columbia.edu/res/pi/MB-System/). Data are unprocessed and may contain outliers and blunders and should not be used for grid calculations and charting projects without further editing.

本数据集的数据采集工作采用Elac SeaBeam 1050型多波束声呐系统（multibeam sonar system）完成。原始数据以Elac SeaBeam当前多波束声呐厂商专属格式交付，其原始多波束声呐数据格式为.xse。SIMRAD原始数据可通过CARIS HIPS/SIPS、Caraibes等软件包进行处理，亦可借助开源软件包MB-System（http://www.ldeo.columbia.edu/res/pi/MB-System/）完成处理。本数据集数据未经预处理，可能存在异常值与粗差，未经过进一步编辑修正前，不得用于格网计算与海图制图项目。
