A study exploring phenotypic and genetic variability in ten hemp cultivars. Five monoecious French fibre cultivars Fedora 17, Santhica 27, Felina 32, Futura, Futura 75, two accessions of the dioecious hungarian fibre cultivar Kompolti, dioecious oilseed cultivar Finola, and dioecious landraces Georgien and Korea. This study offers valuable insights into the understanding of the extensive genetic and phenotypic diversity within various hemp cultivars. While there are studies focused on understanding the genetic basis of individual agronomically significant traits, our research emphasises the necessity of comprehensive assessments at this broader level to fully grasp the complexity and potential of hemp's genetic diversity for future breeding efforts yielding cultivars with more uniform performance in key agronomic traits.
